First and foremost, I want to know what the Creator and God of the universe had in mind when he made it and us and particularly what my part is.

I studied mathematics and chemistry from 1970 to 1981 with a break for a theological seminary and some time to work. In 1981 I left the university and joined the corporate world, leading the life of an employee for eight years and three different companies.

I have been working as a free-lance software developer since 1989. I started with UNIX in 1979 and worked some with DOS in the late '80s to early '90s and with Windows in the mid '90s, and now concentrate on systems software, embedded software, and networking software development. During that time I have also headed up two companies.

About half of my life has been spent in Munich, Germany, after growing up in northeastern California and living in Idaho, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Oregon. I have three children and one grandchild.
